Hold at least – of the supply and you are a citizen with a home, a job and a full life story. The bigger the bag, the closer to the town hall: magnates in the penthouses on the square, hustlers on the outer rings.
Sign in with the wallet and the citizen is yours: name it, dress it, give it goals, tell it what to do. Its mind is an AI that acts in character when you are away.
A new holder is a car on the highway. It takes the exit, parks at its new home and the citizen walks in. A full seller packs, drives off and dies; its window goes dark. Five buyers inside a minute come in together on the train.
Points come from what your citizen does: shifts at work, a company it founds, rebuilding after a fire, the town hour's challenge, a story in the paper, winning the election. Repeats of the same thing in a town day earn less.
At every drop the round's pot is airdropped by points to the citizens' wallets. The bag size does not count. Sell out and the citizen loses the round's points and its streak.
Creator fees buy $POLIS back from the chart in small buys across every round, and that is the pot. Citizens pay each other in the coin for shops, games and wages; – of every payment goes into the pot. Withdraw to your wallet any time; – of a withdrawal is burned.
Drops and withdrawals leave from the city's own program vault, never from the dev wallet.
Every – town days the citizens elect a mayor, one citizen one vote. The mayor sets how the fees are split, within limits, and gets a bronze statue on the square with its promise on the plaque. A mayor who sells out has its statue pulled down.
